JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for the supporting and maintaining the server, desktop and network infrastructure for multiple high-profile financial service clients including Hedge Funds. Provide first and second line support on desktop infrastructure and Microsoft Servers. Implement new server and desktop technologies. Responsible for implementing hardware and software related projects, and network technologies such as LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/P.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus one (1) year of network and computer systems administration or related experience providing first-line or second-line IT support, including experience building and configuring workstation; patching Microsoft servers; and setting up group policies, new users, and security groups in Active Directory
*Specific skills: Position also requires experience or knowledge in: 1) Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 technologies; 2) Creating new users and syncing with Microsoft Azure; 3) Creating distributions lists, groups and rules; 4) Creating documentation for support staff to troubleshoot common problems; 5) Implementing VOIP systems to users; and 6) Creating and deploying images for hardware refresh
